Governor Lynch Declares State of Emergency, Pays Visit to Durham Fire and Briefed on Storm Damage

03 Mar 10 Governor John Lynch declared a state of emergency on Friday after receiving reports that over 300,000 businesses and residents in NH lost power due to massive wind storm that swept through area. It is expected that some isolated residents would be without power for up to a week. The Governor met with town officials on Monday and toured the area to assess the damage.
